Senior Project

The goal of Bristol-Plymouth’s Senior Project is to integrate skills from students’ technical areas and academic areas to create a tangible project and multimedia presentation.  Senior projects are intended to challenge and motivate our students to explore a niche within their technical areas that they wish to delve into further.  Under the supervision of their technical teachers, students select a topic for research that both parties have agreed will stretch the individual student’s capabilities.  Throughout the course of senior year, students are tasked with individual writing assignments in their English and Language Arts classes to discuss processes, challenges, and lessons they have encountered throughout the progression of their projects.  Their skills are also honed as they review and practice the often difficult task of public speaking.  The culmination of their hard work occurs in May when students present their projects to a panel of judges, showcasing the implementation, facilitation, or creation of their ideas.
