Design & Visual Communications

Program Description

Would you love to develop your design artistry and impact the business world? Bristol-Plymouth’s technologically driven Design and Visual Communications Program looks at the visual discussion around us: the medium, the audience, and the creative approach that elicits impactful, targeted messaging. You’ll be trained to apply your aesthetic eye to the consumer digital message; developing your conceptual and technical skills with a foundation in design principles as theory transforms into practice through professional examples, taught techniques, and hands-on project experience in the Mac computer classroom. You’ll grow skilled in the OSX Macintosh computing environment and become versed in the most recent industry- standard software applications: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Flash, Adobe Dreamweaver, Garage Band, Final Cut Express, and iDVD. Graduating with command of these desirable skills will offer you a wide variety of creative career opportunities.
