Community Health
Program Description
Bristol-Plymouth’s Community Health Program can help turn your caring nature into a rewarding career by training you to meet the evolving needs of patients. As a home health aid and Certified Nursing Assitant (CNA) you will develop interpersonal, technical, and critical thinking skills in the classroom, laboratory, and through clinical experiences. Upon completing your junior year, you’ll be prepared to take the state exam so you can earn your credentials to become certified as a CNA. You can also earn college credit for work completed in high school through the Dual Enrollment Program. A continuous demand exists for skilled health care professionals. Graduating will qualify you for a variety of entry-level positions and, with further education, advanced health care professions await involving even greater challenges, responsibilities, and gratification.
