Program of Study
Freshman Year: Students learn and develop skills in automotive repair and maintenance through hands-on training and theory.
Sophomore Year: Students receive exposure to the basics of all eight ASE certification areas to lay the foundation for more advanced instruction in junior year.
Junior Year: Students obtain advanced instruction in all eight ASE certification areas.
Senior Year: Students hone their acquired skills through customer production work to transition from school to the workplace or post-secondary education.

Additional Information
The Automotive Technology Program curriculum is evaluated and accredited by the ASE Education Foundation to meet current Automotive Industry standards. Upon graduation and future work experience, students may obtain ASE Technician certifications in eight automotive areas and may include their shop hours towards these certifications. Tech Prep articulation agreements with several existing colleges allow Bristol-Plymouth students to earn college credit for coursework completed in the Automotive Technology Program. Our Automotive Technology Program also takes part in Student Career Development through the ASE Education Foundation.
