SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization that helps students prepare for careers in skilled service, technical, and trade occupations. The organization's mission is to develop students into skilled professionals, career-ready leaders, and responsible community members.
Every student enrolled at Bristol Plymouth is member of SkillsUSA.

Freshman Summit (freshman)
One day conference introducing freshman students to SkillsUSA
Fall Leadership Conference (sophomores and juniors) One overnight at Best Western in Marlboro, Massachusetts
The SkillsUSA Fall Leadership Conference (FLC) is a career development event for students and advisors that focuses on the SkillsUSA Framework. The conference aims to provide attendees with tools to succeed throughout the school year.
Bristol Plymouth in house competitions.
For in-house competitions, competitors put in the hours to master their craft and hone their skills to earn the honor of representing their school at the district competition held at Bristol Plymouth. The top 4 students in each technical area will move onto the state competition. Award ceremony will be held at BP to recognize our in-house champions
S.A.I.L. conference ( seniors)
The SkillsUSA Senior Adventures in Leadership (SAiL) Conference is an interactive training event for high school seniors and those who have completed college or postsecondary programs. The conference is designed to help students transition from school to college and careers.
District Competitions
The District Competition consists of three components:

50 Question Technical Exam-- 70% of the final score

50 Question Employability Skills/Professional Development Exam-- 20% of final score

25 Question OSHA Exam-- 10% of final score (and tie breaker)
SkillsUSA State competition
The SkillsUSA Massachusetts State Leadership and Skills Conference is an annual event that showcases the skills of students enrolled in technical, health, and vocational education. The competition is designed to teach students real-world skills that employers look for in entry-level professionals. The event also includes leadership categories and business and industry partners who promote the principles of career and technical education
SkillsUSA National Conference
The SkillsUSA Championships are a series of competitive events that showcase the skills of the best career and technical education (CTE) students in the United States. The competitions start locally and progress through the state and national levels. The Massachusetts SkillsUSA Championships are part of the annual Massachusetts State Leadership and Skills Conference, which also includes business and industry partners and sponsors. The competitions are designed to teach students real-world skills that employers look for in entry-level professionals.
