In supporting our core values, we have crafted a culture of racial equality (CCRE).

 

CRAFTING A CULTURE OF RACIAL EQUALITY TASK FORCE

Mission Statement:

The purpose of the Crafting a Culture of Racial Equality Task Force is to address relationships, institutional racism, and implicit bias, and to create educational opportunities for the Bristol-Plymouth community, including rigorous and ongoing professional development for all staff regarding racial equality.  The task force will foster collaboration between students, faculty, and the greater school community in support of racial equality and justice, allying with partners who support related strategies.  Additional goals of the task force include the development of policies, programs, and practices that promote racial equality.

Statement on Racism:

We recognize the inherent dignity and the equal and inalienable rights of all members of Bristol-Plymouth, our community, and the world.  We condemn racism and racist ideologies in all their forms, and we seek to appreciate and understand differences, and believe in tolerance and the fundamental importance of diverse points of view.  Any claims of inherent racial or ethnic superiority are abhorrent, and we explicity denounce groups that make any such claims.
