Program of Study
Freshman Year: Oxy-fuel welding and brazing, measuring, SMAW and GMAW, operate shear, ironworker and bandsaw, fabricate small projects.
Sophomore Year: SMAW and GMAW, fabricate and weld assemblies, weld inspection, thermal cutting processes, AWS S.E.N.S.E. Certification.
Junior Year: OSHA 10 certification, operate power press brake and rollers, fabricate both ferrous and non-ferrous metals from sketches and blueprints, weld projects using SMAW, GMAW and GTAW.
Senior Year: Large scale fabrication projects, weld projects using SMAW and GMAW, senior project.
