The B-P Girls Varsity and JV basketball teams lost their Home Opener yesterday against West Bridgewater. Both teams worked very hard with great defense and rebounding. The Varsity team was led by Freshman Kaya McGrath with 14 points and Captain Kalli Guillemette with 5 and strong defense from Freshman Carrissa Dutton. The JV team was led by Freshman Mackenzie Still and Junior Tori Shurtleff. Both teams never gave up and fought until the end! Great Game Lady Craftsmen! The teams next game is tomorrow against Westport High School.
The Co-op meeting scheduled for this afternoon with Mrs. Carrelas has been cancelled.
Attention BPA members, there will be an important meeting after school in the lecture hall. Please see Mrs Powers if you are unable to attend the meeting.
Attention all seniors who participated in the senior class fundraiser: Your items will be arriving this afternoon. If you have multiple purchases, please plan accordingly.
Community Service Club
The Community Service club will be selling Candy Grams this week at all lunches. Each candy gram cost $1. The Candy Grams will be delivered the week before Winter Break.
Just a reminder to all DECA members that the District exam will be tomorrow after school in BAT. You must take the exam in order to compete, so see Mrs. Karamanian immediately if you have an issue or question.
The National Honor Society will be holding a meeting tomorrow in Room 403 to review plans for the induction ceremony on the 19th. This makes the meeting imperative, so please make every effort to attend. If you cannot attend, you MUST see Ms. Viveiros sometime this week.
There will be a photography club meeting after school tomorrow in room 158, the Design and Visual Communications room.
Graphic Narrative Club
The next meeting of the Graphic Narrative Club will be tomorrow at 2:30 in Room 253. All are welcome.
MCAS After-School Support
The MCAS After-School Support Program meets Tuesday-Thursday afternoons from 2:30-4PM. Support is available for Biology on Tuesdays, ELA on Wednesdays, and Math on Thursdays. Sign up in the library and work towards success on the MCAS exam!
Non Traditional Club
The Non Traditional Club will be hosting its Holiday Party on Thursday at 2:15p.m. in the Career Center. All are welcome to attend!
Ho Ho Ho! Santa Clause is coming back to town to take photos with students on Thursday! The Community Service Club is bringing back photos with Santa to raise money for their trip. Photos with 1-4 people are $5, 5-10 people are $10 and 11 or more people are $15. The photos will be emailed so you can use them on your social media, and you'll receive one hard copy as well. Get in the spirit and come and meet Santa!
Lost & Found
There are many items in the Lost and Found located in the library. If you are missing any clothing, please stop by to check if it is there. Any items remaining on Friday will be donated to charity.
There will be a Student Council meeting tomorrow right after school in the Lecture Hall. If you cannot attend, please contact an E-Board member or Mr. Pacheco in room 252.
Student Council is hosting its annual toy run to help make the holidays merrier for local needy children. If you would like to help out, take a tag from the tree near the school store and return your unwrapped gift by next Monday, December 18th.
Seniors: The MA AFL-CIO scholarship is now available. Please go to website and fill out application. Completed applications should be submitted to Mrs. Magny-Black by the deadline.
All Juniors and Seniors are eligible to apply for the B.Davis scholarship. Please apply through the Naviance website for this and many more scholarship.

Have you ever wanted to take a course in forensics, robotics, photography, theater, sports or aviation science? Does taking a course in “Last Comic Standing” or “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” intrigue you? If you answered yes to any of these questions or just like meeting new people, then Project Contemporary Competitiveness, better known as PCC, might be a great option for you! Polished Dental, the program providing preventative dental care, will be visiting B-P on January 22nd & 23rd. Services provided may include: dental evaluations, cleanings, sealants, flouride, toothbrush & toothpaste, and referrals. These services may be provided free of charge! Extra forms can be found on our website HERE, and should be returned to the main office.
