SCHOOL NURSE

The School Nurse provides nursing assessment and first aid for illness or injury to students and staff members during school hours. The nurse also facilitates health and wellness so that each student has the opportunity for academic success. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to notify the School Nurse of any acute or chronic health problems that a student may have.

NOTE: No student will be allowed to attend Bristol-Plymouth without an up-to-date immunization record. Every student must file Emergency Cards with the School Nurse each year, before his/her first day of shop. Failure to do so will result in the student being excluded from shop activity until the Emergency Card is filed with the School Nurse. Parents are required to notify the School Nurse or Guidance Office with any changes of a student’s emergency phone numbers, or change of address as soon as they occur.

For additional information, please refer to the Student-Parent Handbook.
